I create art that explores our complex relationship with the natural world. My work blends a contemporary environmental consciousness with the ancient mysticism of our ancestors – the myths and stories that connected us to the land. My mixed British and Asian heritage and upbringing deeply influence my artistic perspective, shaping the themes I explore and the way I see the world. Through the beauty of my prints, I hope to inspire viewers to reconsider their own place in the ecosystem and reflect on their role in preserving our planet.
I'm drawn to traditional printmaking techniques, in particular relief printing. Every line is drawn and carved by hand, with an emphasis on technical skill and intricate detail. In an age of rapidly generated AI art, I believe it's vital to preserve these time-honoured practices and highlight the human story behind each piece. This tangible connection to the creative process is what I value in art, and I hope it resonates with others as well.
I'm also developing ways of incorporating found and recycled materials into my practice, including exploring low-fi intaglio methods, without sacrificing quality or longevity of the piece. As we face down the barrel of environmental crisis, I believe it's essential for all of us to contribute to positive solutions in any way we can.

Creative Background:
My artistic journey began at a young age, attending an art-focused high school before going on to intern in advertising agencies and graphic design studios throughout my teens, most notably with Singapore-based artist Mojoko. These experiences, while formative, ultimately revealed that my true passion lay beyond client briefs and market trends. I craved the freedom of pure creative expression, the ability to delve deeper into my own artistic vision. This desire led me to study drawing and printmaking at LMU (formerly The Cass) in London, graduating in 2013.
The years that followed were a whirlwind of diverse experiences. I lived and traveled in a van with The Mute Collective: a sustainable fashion startup, designing apparel and creating large-scale artwork at festivals and extreme sports events. I worked as assistant to British pop artist Boyarde Messenger. Other adventures included living in a tent in the Costa Rican rainforest, launching a skate company, and a brief foray into brewing craft beer.
These experiences, though varied, have all enriched my artistic perspective.
